Other phone OS (iOS, Android, Windows, my old feature phones back to 2000!) constanly show the signal strength icon on the display screen - usually at the top, but it's pretty much always on screen
Sailfish doesn't - the only time it shows is when you unlock & start to drag up from or down to the lockscreen
This isn't particularly useful.
Wouldn't it be more sensible to replicate the way things like signal, remaining battery etc are shown on virtually every other mobile phone?
I appreciate that Jolla/Sailfish is trying to differentiate itself, but not displaying this info on very current screen seems a little self defeating, as it is key information - especially if you're trying to make a call!
Likewise the connection icon (those 2 triangles that overlap each other) should be in the same information bar throughout the phone
