[Bug] Incoming calls are suppressed and a notification is missing

Description

I am experiencing the severe issue that my XA2 sometimes is suppressing incoming phone calls, i.e. my device is not displaying the incoming call screen AND also not showing a notification about the missed call.

Affected devices and versions

This issue occurs on my Sony Xperia XA2 Dual SIM device running on Sailfish OS 3.1.0.11. The XA2 runs with the v16 vendor binary.

Further information

I don't know how to reproduce this issue since it is happening randomly and it's diffucult to even notice it. This question shall draw the attention to the existence of such a severe bug and serve as a collection of possibilities on how to determine, log and reproduce this issue.

Symptoms:

  • The display goes on without displaying an incoming call or a notification
  • When my XA2 lies in front of my PC speakers, I hear the electromagnetic interference noise of an incoming call (this occured both while my device was idle and also while a call was already ongoing)
  • I receive voice mails without the corresponding missed call notification being displayed on my device
  • I am receiving messages of the caller asking me why I didn't pick up the phone or why the line was pretended to be busy right after such symptoms as mentioned above

Debugging:

I am trying to find a way to determine if my device experienced this bug and I therfore may have missed some important calls. Is somone aware of how I could trace this bug by e.g. using Ofono Logger or for what log messages I should look for?
