Backup to an NFS mounted directory on PC

I'd like to do a backup directly to my PC (don't like to send my data to google or microsoft, and don't want to buy a card extra for this).

What I tried to do was:

  • use sshfs-fuse-2 to mount a directory on my PC to /media/sdcard
  • make a backup (via system menu).

Mounting does work, but the backup utility doesn't see the "card".

What do I do wrong, is this possible at all, or why not?
