[BUG] SMS can not be deleted

The new cross UI element is confusing. I managed to delete two SMS by accident when I tried to copy part of the contents at the end of the message by long pressing the message, releasing, which apparently selected "Delete" then tried to cancel by pressing the cross which caused the message to be deleted. I managed to do it twice by accident. See https://together.jolla.com/question/217059/remorse-timer-usability/?sort=votes&page=1

However, then I tried to actually delete a message. The message could not be deleted. No remorse timer was shown and the position of the conversation jumped to the end.

Xperia 10, Torronsuo.

WORKAROUND: Close the messaging app and try to delete the message again. It should work.

UPDATE: To clarify l accidentally deleted only messages that I had sent. They were from earlier this week if that makes a difference was in trying to reproduce this and had responses after each. They contained emojis.

UPDATE2: I think there's a problem with the SMS delete UI especially for the deletion of messages you have sent, because the cross button is so close to where your finger is when you release it (to select delete) that you accidentally can press the cross button again to delete the message immediately.

WORKAROUND: Close the messaging app and try to delete the message again. It should work.
