I've been wanting to ask this for years, but for some reasons the display on my devices sometimes flickers, like turns off and on again. It's not when moving the devices so the sensors adjust for light, because it also happens with the phone lying flat on the table with no movements around it. I'm not absolute sure, but pretty positive, that it's mostly (only?) with native Silica apps. It also happens with each reboot when entering the PIN-code for the SIM.
And it's on Jolla 1, Xperia X and Xperia XA2, so it shouldn't be HW related. And if it's on purpose I don't like that animation 😜

It's almost like this bug but not that often.

Edit: Thinking about it, I have used backups from J1->X->XA2. Can some weird setting gotten all that way? Like on my Linux box I've had the same home directory almost for decades, which sometimes can cause unexpected behaviour. Or is it just really bad karma as mentioned below?
