Since the care people are busy i'll ask it here. Right now the only way -or at least the one i found- to replace the default icons is to replace them manually which is fine for the "hacky" type of user but not fine at all for everyone else.
So. Is there a way of packaging an icon theme that can replace the default -and maybe more- icons that will work like this:
The user downloads the package (preferably from harbor) >> Installs it >> Uses the theme >>If he uninstall it returns to the default theme without messing anything.
And just to tease a bit -it it ever gets a release- it will look somehow like this:
