This weekend I used device lock for the first time (with automatic locking 30 min. and allow feeds while locked). When the phone locks after the timeout there is no sign in the lock screen that the phone is locked and behaves strange in some ways. And to unlock you have to swipe in the launcher area ?!

Wouldn't it be better to

• show the lock status in the lock screen and
• have the unlock dial pad in the lock screen itself?

Why is it called lock screen after all?
