To save mobile data and for securty reasons (attached malware ) it would be better to have more options in the email app, like

• download just subjects and header no attachments
• dowload attachments until xx kb or mb
• download all

As long as I found out, Mails are downloaded completely as a not changeable default. After the first sync of a new email account added to Jolla all pics attached to mails in the account appeared in the gallery... Luckily I had a wifi connection that moment... ;))) !
