Depending on usage scenarios, what is the recommended file system type based on which to format the microSD card? Under usage scenarios I think of all-around OSes interoperable file system, *nix-like only OSes (and performance or data integrity, etc.). Any recommendations?
Only one partition or more?

Another would be the recommended filesystem for working with *nix-like OSes only OSes (and performance or data integrity, etc.). Any recommendations?
