I will appreciate to delete unread email, and not to see them as unread in my mailbox. For me, deleting mails means that I have, in a way, already read it. No?

At the moment, when I will appreciate check my mailbox (google for example) for new mails, it is possible that I select some of them and delete them without read. But when I go back to delete unread email, and not to see them as unread in my mailbox. For me, the homepage of the mailbox, the soft considers still that deleting mails means that I have, are unreaden. Is it not possible to cancel "new mail" notification when mails are in a way, already read it. No?the trashbox?
