When I answer the phone or do something with pulley-menu I usually have to look at the phone even if I'm selecting the last item (uppermost) in the menu as it might jump over the last selection.
How about when pulley-menu reaches the last item it would stop to it when you keep moving your thumb down so you would know without looking that you selected the last item?

In case you would like to see the full menu ( where you can tap the selection ) you would swipe over the edge of the screen.
