Input text not sent to browser when typing words
This seem like a bug in the web browser. Until you press a backspace button on the keyboard no text is sent which means you won't get suggestions for a search box (test e.g. on this site - when you type in words a placeholder text is always shown; once you press space and then remove it with backspace the placeholder disappears and suggestions are shown).
