The Jolla reminds me of birthdays, even though the birthday calendar is disabled. This is quite annoying if you have a lot of contacts in your People app.

It is possible to create multiple calenders on the Jolla phone:

• Contacts containing a birthday date will appear in a birthday calendar
• Facebook appointments stored in a
• specific calendar Creating a CalDAV account also creates a new calendar

If you run the calendar application you can select Manage Calendars at the pulley menu. This allows you to select the active calendars. If a selected calendar is disabled the reminders appear anyway.
