I would like for this to be an option in Settings: to have the possibility to choose to open the home screen with double tap instead of the lock screen.

When I double tap the phone to open, almost always the next step is to go to the home screen. So why not have the possibility to double tap to home screen and then go to lock screen if you want to see notifications or something else.
