[Bug] Erratic cursor behaviour in message app

I am often experiencing some annoying cursor behaviour while writing some sms messages. Although this seems to be difficult to reproduce this is happening often to me while messageing without thinking about it.

  • How to reproduce:

Write a long sms message (about 4 sms/ 640 charachters long) and put the cursor somewhat to the bottom. Put your finger anywhere in the middle of the text area and swipe your finger to the bottom bezel as long as your cursor disappears under the keyboard - you often have to scroll OVER the keyboard - and release your finger now. The sms will jump up to the cursor (which is placed at the bottom at this moment).

This is also happening vice versa: Put the cursor to the top of your long sms and place your finger in the middle of the screen again. Then firstly scroll your sms up to hide the cursor behind the top bezel and secondly scroll your sms down until your finger gets over the virtual keyboard and swipe the sms up again to hide the cursor under the top bezel (sometimes you have to go twice over the keyboard) before releasing your finger - the sms will jump down to the cursor again.

Edit:

This is also happening if you are writing a new message and scroll up to older messages.
