Unnecessary animation when opening events screen from launcher

As you all have noticed, when you scroll down from the home screen to the launcher, the ambience background image also scrolls a bit.

But when you’re in the launcher and open the events view with a swipe up from bottom, the ambience image in the back of events is first shown in its ”home position” and only after that scrolls to the position it was when you were in the launcher. It’s an unnecessary animation; the ambience image should be in the final position right when you open the events screen.

To reproduce, choose an ambience background with strong contrasts; open the events screen from your last launcher page, leaving your finger on the screen; once you release your finger, the background scrolls.
