• Recent is to long or in the wrong place

having a full screen of recents is nice but when someone is off to work the list is obsolete at some time of the day but still in his way

• Either have Search visible as top bar or change the large char-pattern into a search-helper

my contacts hit the +200 entries and it is close to impossible to be fast using the chars-pattern, how about the large char-pattern changing to available chars at the bottom of the screen to have an easy input method and showing results above - just like a keyboard but only triggered as such when used (not always visible, shrinking with available chars)
