Create a dock and bedside mode for clock or lock screen
To elaborate here, a dock mode would cause the device's default orientation to be upside-down (since the usb port is at the logical top of the device), and bedside mode would cause apps and other things to dim everything to the furthest possible state, and use very dark colours on a black background.
