After 5 month of use, I found Jolla gesture less usefull than N9...
First, lateral swipe (to change ambiance) is very useless, I rarely changed my ambiance and I think N9 model is better (currently, if we have many applications, it's complicate to return to the task screen, and switch quickly to an application to another, and switch to a new one is very long and complicate vs N9). With N9, the multi-task is very impressive, when I show my N9 to an android user, I show the way to launch contact and quickly go to multi-task view, and run another app and jump to the previous... With Sailfish, it's longer, and not better than android system (since Android 4, the multitask is more usefull than sailfish... but less than N9)...
Lock screen (with hour) very empty... why date, battery level, signal level are not on this screen ??? And also notifications ?
To conclude, It can be a good idea to have an optional "N9 mode". Pulley menu is a very good improvement since harmattan, but Sailfish home screens are not so usable than the N9...
