I know there is a thread about making the lockscreen customizable which was originally dedicated only to this very topic. It has a very long answer from Jaako Roppola that basically says it's very complicated and also not a good request (feel free to explain if I misread that). Well I am guessing/hoping that putting only the date on the lockscreen, without making it customizable, is much less complicated and I'm convinced it would make a lot of people's day to reduce the number of actions necessary to see the date from 2-5 to 1. Hence, this thread shell provide the possibility to vote on this single enhancement, and hopefully take away a good excuse to put off work on the lockscreen ;-P Get voting, all people who can never remember today's date!
