Since some days/weeks ago I'm not able to send any SMS. I can still receive such messages, though, and I also haven't experienced any issues with phone calls. And, just to avoid questions: yes, I have been able to send SMS before.

Some things which might be of interest:

• I've been to Namibia recently. Maybe roaming had an influence?
• The error message displayed below the SMS I tried to send is (translated from German): "Problem sending the message". Not very specific...
• journalctl output: http://pastebin.com/ZDdzAfLF
• I have received an MMS. Before this, sending SMS worked, afterwards it didn't. But this might very well just be a coincidence. I haven't tried to send SMS days before or after receiving this MMS.
  • I can't think of any setting that I've changed to make SMS not work
