Finally there is CalDAV sync (yet for Calendars only, not for address books, unfortunately...). I am using correct serveraddress and serverpath, the preferences is showing all my calendars that I can sync, but not any entry in the calendar. I suspect it's because I am using a CACert certificate on my server.
Is there any way to implement the CACert root certificates system wide?

Though I followed this guide, the CalDAV sync is not working and no events are shown in the calendar app.

[Update]
I was able to solve the problem by manually implementing the root certs in /etc/pki/tls/certs/
and after a reboot the sync was successful.
But the root certs still seem not to be accepted system wide (e.g. for the browser app).
