Why the operator name is covering the current date infirmatio?
The new SF os release 1.0.7.16 introduced date information to the lock screen. However the important date information for the user is hidden with operator name with delay of 1.5s.
This new feature should be reverted i.e. the operator name should be shown 1.5s and then hidden with current date until user removes the lock screen.
Unfortunately this feature doesn't support the viewing of the current date via peek gesture on active app, which we have open posts on tjc
