Hi,
I'm a new Jolla user, so forgive me if I ask someting obvious. I installed some Android apps and everything worked perfect, but now the icons are missing so I can't start them anymore. Nor am I able to get them back by reinstalling.
First I tried to install them by using the file browser and selecting install from the pull-menu, but that didn't do anyting. I could see the contents of the apk though, so I assume it is not corrputed or anything.
Later, I followed the steps on this page this page that explains how to install Google Play. (Only with different apk's, of course)
This worked and I was a happy user for a couple of days. But now the icons are missing. The apk's are still present in /opt/alien/system/app
While searching for a solution, I came across some pages that said to use apkd-install xxx.apk. If I try that, I get
method return sender=:1.4 -> dest:1.93 reply_serial=2
boolean true
As you can see, I'm a bit clueless on this. Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks!
