These are the steps to get the Arabic keyboard for your Jolla :)

Part one First Download both Files. ar.xml.txt:: http://www.filedropper.com/arqml Fonts.zip http://www.filedropper.com/fonts_9

1. Unzip fonts

2. Change ar.xml.txt to ar.xml (you can do it via file browser you Jolla)

3. Connect your Jolla Copy/Cut both files and Paste in Documents

4. Turn your Developer mode on ( settings> system> Developer mode) to get terminal app Activate Remote Connection and Generate or create a password for rooting

Part two Open terminal Type

devel-su enter [your password] enter

cd /usr/share/fonts enter cp /home/nemo/Documents/fonts/* . enter (remember capital D for Documents and be sure you type fonts/star space Fullstop) fc-cache enter

Your done RESTART your Jolla.

Part Three Type

devel-su enter [your password] enter

cd /usr/share/maliit/plugins/com/jolla/layouts enter cp /home/nemo/Documents/ar.qml .

BE CAREFULL NOW

vi layouts coif enter (info appears) i enter (in for moves down one row)

[ar.qml] enter name= Arabic enter languageCode=AR enter

Good Job ! Now Press ESC Press : Press W Press Q enter (screen will move to the bottom

Type exit* enter*

systemctl --user restart maliit-server.service
