[bug] Phone does not switch airplane mode on/off in standby

I usually activate airplane mode when I go to bed, then I shut it off at the morning. Since the last update (1.0.8.19) I noticed a little but annoying bug. Steps to reproduce it:

  1. Put the phone in airplane mode. The mobile connection will shut off.
  2. Disable airplane mode and without waiting the countdown timer to cancel, park the Settings app and put the phone in standby. I do it very quickly with gestures, it takes me certainly less time than the countdown timer.
  3. Wait for an undefined amount of time with the phone in standy mode.
  4. Wake up the phone. You will notice that the phone is exiting from airplane mode only after waking it up.

The same behavior is obtained also for the reverse procedure: entering airplane mode from a connected state. I tested with an incoming phone call if the bug is only for the UI but it is not.
