I find current menu for calendar event reminder (5min, 15min,30min, and so on) too restricting and limited. Even the whole idea of predefined reminder settings is a bit odd. What I'm suggesting is that instead of list of predefined choices, the reminder would work like the setting the alarm: first you set the date (default should be the same day when the alarm is) and second menu is the time (default being the same time the event is). The time slider is pretty neat. Why you don't use it!
Also, what I would like to see is the idea which is first suggested here. When calendar alarm is fired, there should be option in upper pulley menu, next to the snooze, which would take you to event settings so that you could set new alarm for the said event.
Here is an example use case:
I'm going aboard at the day X, but I need reminder for evening before the trip to start packing. When alarm for packing fires, I use alarm pulley menu, go past the snooze, and end up choosing "Edit event settings". There, I edit the reminder again.
With current Jolla calendar options I would need to set at least two alarms, since I can't control when the calendar alarm fires if the desired alarm time is outside of pre-definitions.

Edit: if we already know when we want the second reminder, we should be able to add multiple reminders when we create the event, so we don't forget. Currently, we have to create multiple events if we want multiple reminders.
