[Bug] SIM card is not connected on startup

I have a strange behaviour since some time: when my Jolla boot up, it won't ask me for the PIN code, nor activate the SIM card.

Once started, I can go to settings, choose mobile network, pull down the menu and activate the SIM card. I'm asked for the IPN, and the phone try to "Retrieve settings". This step does not end, but the phone works nevertheless, and I get a GSM/LTE connection...

I also noticed the one phone setting is lost each time, that is the "Enable swipe closing" shortcut... (don't know if it's related.

UPDATE: I tested my Simcard on another phone (N9), and it works fine. So the symptoms are:

  1. boot the Jolla
  2. no PIN is asked. A circle (work in progress) is displayed for a while, then the home screen as usual...
  3. Once started, the SIM card is inactive.
  4. You have to go to Settings/Mobile network/pull down Activate SIM card to get it. It seems to fail to "Retrieve settings", but closing the settings window works nonetheless.
  5. Also, the "swipe down to close" shortcut setting is lost
  6. Everything else seems to work.
