It would be great to have this feature in Sailfish apps like documents: a lot of applications in Linux world support opening of compressed files without the need of manual intervention (eg. evince and okular opening .pdf.gz files)

As a heavy user of city magazines (very useful in pocket) this would reduce the needed flash memory a lot (the one for Stuttgart is sometimes 200mb pdf that goes down to 40mb as .pdf.gz)
