Imagine this.
Six o'clock every morning there are some pills to take. So I have an alarm set for that time. What if there was an alarm type that demanded input and then logged it with time and response? Did I take that pill on wednesday morning? The log would know.
Logged timers could be used for self tests. A diabetic could check the blood glucose level at a specified time after dinner (usually one hour after the meal). The log would take the value and store it with the exact time.
OtherHalves with self test hardware (such as a glucose meter) could report results automatically to the log.
