Currently when writing a message (im/sms), the screen does not display the recipient's name. Before hitting send, you might happen to still remember picking the right contact for this message content, and the conversation might contain messages for context. Or, it might be the case that you're not quite sure, and that there is no context.
(The message entry sometimes shows the recipient name when blank, but that's not useful later after time and/or distractions in between.)

It turns out there is the contact card if you swipe left, but given sailfish ui conventions, you'd be silly not to think that wouldn't send the message. (There's no upper corner label during the gesture saying anything about sending, so maybe it doesn't? Alas, not a good time of day to test that from here.)

Currently when When writing a message (im/sms), the screen does not display the recipient's name. Before hitting send, you might happen to still remember picking the right contact for this message content, and the conversation might contain messages for context. Or, it might be the case that you're not quite sure, and that there is no insufficient context.
This happens if you enter the message writing screen by tapping on a message in the message list, or via contacts. If you use "new message" from the messaging menu, then you do get to see the recipients.
(The message entry sometimes shows the recipient name when blank, but that's not useful later after time and/or distractions in between.)
