I'm quite sure there is a more orthodox solution (feel free to detail it here) however this is how I prepared a factory reset in order to restore my stuff quickly afterwards. I installed Ranjith Naidu's "filetransfer" from Google playstore, then I used my FTP utility (Filezilla) to make a full back-up of the phone memory to the PC (via wifi connection). Of course, it's an Android app.

So far, I didn't find a 'normal' and native procedure to do so through the USB connection.
