Not the first time: I occasionally run into some indexing problem of the media library (new mp3 files on the external sd card not or only partially recognized after adding a new album in my case). Up to now the only workaround seems to be to reset the media library cache with tracker-control -r
(on the command line) and then restarting the media player and hoping it will correctly reindex the music collection. Not a big issue but somewhat irritating.
I would greatly appreciate having an option (pulley media entry) to rescan and reindex all the media files from inside the standard media player app. Ideally you could even give a set of folders to scan and/or to skip.

Additionally, the progress of the scanning and indexing process should be displayed with a bar or percentage.
