It contains full Sailfish OS SDK Beta 1410 installation at the /home/sailfishos directory. You can try it as live CD or you can install the operating system (Sailfish OS SDK included). Well.. it works like an ordinary Lubuntu live CD.
I reccomend to use Ubuntu Live USB Creator with Ubuntu, or Universal USB Installer (select “try unlisted linux iso” in the list) with Windows. They are nice because they leave the original boot menu. Be carefull with creating writable space (casper.rw) on your USB device. It may cause real problems with performance if your USB device is not fast enough.
As you know, the default Sailfish OS SDK is installed for the specified user. And then it works only for the user who installed it. Since this live ISO was conceived to be used without any specific user, I moved SDK to the /home/sailfishos directory and preformed some additional settings with the paths and the permissions.
Honestly, I just gave full read/write/execution permissions for all.. Not very cool, yes. But there were bugs otherwise. Also I do not pretend that everything is done completely and correctly. But it works. If there are any coments or suggestions, be sure to write.
Since the virtual machine image changes when you use it, in live-mode it will be copied to RAM at the first calls. It takes some time. Therefore, before starting a project you need:
