Gallery cover action disappears when pictures are saved to Gallery
If you have no pictures saved to your Gallery you can use its cover to take a picture with Camera. If you however have even one picture in your Gallery the cover action disappears. Screenshots demonstrating these below. System version is 1.0.8.21.

EDIT 20.11.2014: I originally thought that this was a bug but it makes sense as a feature too. Since I'm not sure I've changed the title and the content of the question a bit.
If you have no pictures saved to your Gallery you can use its cover covers action to take a picture with Camera. If you however have even one picture in your Gallery the cover action disappears. Is the camera cover action supposed to stay there or only to be used to get the first picture and then disappear?
