While I don't know the specific CPU series being used in the tablet, hopefully some of Intel's models will support AES-NI for faster and more power efficient encryption/decryption.
Having this feature available on the CPU would make either partial encryption or full disk encryption (for example of the SD card) much more performant and power efficient.
