We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

Starting from the discussion about an "ethical phone" hardware (see https://together.jolla.com/question/67434/question-does-jolla-have-a-conflict-minerals-policy/), I want to urge Jolla and its fabulous sailor team to prioritize the porting of SailfishOS to Fairphone (see http://www.fairphone.com/).
Yes, I know it hast been suggested alread in the above question, as well as in the large question https://together.jolla.com/question/4851/what-hardwaredevices-would-you-like-to-see-sailfishos-on/, but I really want to emphasize this point: you don't need to develop a new hardware, but, instead of porting SailfishOS to existing devices which run anyway on unfair hardware and an unfair OS, please support the Fairphone project. I'm sure it would become a huge success with a fair hardware and a (mostly) open OS like Jollas Sailfish.
