We have moved to a new Sailfish OS Forum. Please start new discussions there.

I have a Jolla phone from an early pre-order batch, and the Sailfish OS I have on it is the latest test release with Qt 5 in it.
When battery was near empty, I used the phone to make a call. I've dialed a number, and while the call was in progress there was a beep beep and a notice on the screen that the phone will shut down soon.
I immediately went to connect it to charger (mains, not USB), but it turned itself off before I managed to connect it.
I plugged in the charger expecting that it would start charging. However, red LED started blinking. I've tried re-plugging many times and always the result was the same - red LED blinking.
I managed to turn on the phone again (while presumably there was still some battery power available), and I managed to connect the charger and see the PC/just-charge choice and click on "Just charge". However, the phone was already shutting itself down again and I couldn't manage to keep it running.
I've read in one of forum posts that the person with the same problem has left battery out of the phone for a while, and later it was OK. That solution did not help here -- I left the battery out of the phone for about 12 hours, and here is what is happening with the phone now:
When I connect the charger, the following behavior keeps repeating itself in a loop:
And that series of steps just keeps repeating itself.
While this is going on, the power button either does not react at all, or sometimes it does and the phone vibrates a bit, but does not affect the things significantly. In one of the attempts, it got a little further and a red "0%" showed on the screen, followed by the Jolla logo + red LED and shutting itself down.
Any insight would be appreciated as obviously this is an unusable phone if I can't recover from this.
