Why not integrate a gratification-system in the jolla community and the store? for instance flattr could be implemented within the whole jolla-community or an own gratification system that would yet be to develop (ship coins). With such a system it would be possible to reward not only community-efforts but also software-development and -improvement.
App-wise at the moment there is only the thump-up icon in the jolla-store afaik and developers have no possibility to gain money in return to their work except by asking for donations over paypal. IMO that will keep developers with economic ambitions from publishing within harbour. We will see in consequence a lot of rpm-files published anywhere instead of all essential apps published in the official jolla-store and big, "commercial" projects just not realized.
