Trouble authentication with Zoho SMTP server

Hello all,

I see that there have been questions about Zoho before but none of them seem to apply to me. Below is a sample log of an SMTP session with Zoho (for privacy I have replace my real email address with 'censored' but the original log showed by correct email address, and my IP with '<my ip="">'). What is notable is that the Jolla email client does not attempt to authenticate with the SMTP server before sending the email - thus no surprise that the server complains. Any suggestions or work-arounds?
