At first glance I thought it to be the same issue as android apps not starting in low memory situations¹, however closing all open sailfish apps does not help. Restarting aliendalvik does not help. The only thing that helps is restarting the device, which gets old fast.
Any further ways to debug this?

Thoroughly cleaning out and reinstalling Alien Dalvik might help, though it hurts: https://together.jolla.com/question/13805/android-support-not-working-apps-not-loading/#post-id-14896

I haven't done any modifications to my android install. I have recently done a factory reset (around the time of the last update).

Edit: I'm not sure, but my bug might actually be this bug.
