When sending an SMS message to multiple recipients you now only see the message once, and by swiping from the right can view all of the recipients, but unfortunately there is no way to view the delivery report/status to each recipient (which is shown on single messages).
The delivery report should be shown alongside the name of each recipient.
A better solution, however, might be to break the message out into individual messages (as per N9) as any conversation (ie. any replies) initiated by the multiple recipient SMS becomes discontinuous as replies will appear in a different thread (from an individual recipient), so I'm really not sure that grouping a message together by recipient works at all - please reconsider this aspect of the UI design.

All in a different thread (from an individual recipient), so all, I'm really not sure that grouping a message together by recipient works at SMS messages into a single thread is a good idea (certainly not for the sake of relationships, employment, family harmony, that kind of thing). Adding confirmation that a reply is being sent to all - please reconsider recipients would be a start, but either pulling this aspect of the UI design.feature completely or adding an option to enable message grouping would be my preferred solution.

The problem is with either the first person to reply, or maybe just the first recipient, or both, but their reply will appear in the "multi-recipient" message thread while other replies from other recipients will appear in individual messages (as per N9) as although individual replies are shown within the context of the multi-message thread, responding to a reply appears to message threads.
Replying to the reply that is in the multi-recipient thread will be sent to all recipients AGAIN ALL recipients, which may not be what the send intends at all.

Correction: The delivery status can be seen in the individual threads created when sending the group message, but not in the group thread.
The delivery report should be shown alongside the name of each recipient.
