I frequently use the Firefox for Android browser.
When in a textfield, I can drag the cursor around but doing so hides the keyboard.
It then takes another tap on the textfield to show the keyboard again yet this will likely move the cursor into the middle of an adjacent word, which makes text editing a frustrating experience.
Workaround is to always tap and hope you can get close enough behind the text to-be-edited that you can backspace and retype the following word.
I'm using SailFish 1.1.1.27.

EDIT: Update 1.1.2.16 didn't resolve this. Also note that it might be isolated to multi-line input forms, single line widgets appear to work fine (e.g. the URL bar of Firefox for Android).
