Is there something planned that would allow to run certain apps or some external scripts as root by providing option to enter root password through some graphical dialog (like it is practiced in KDE or Gnome)? I can imagine situations where power user would like to do certain, even unsafe operations. Of course it's quite obvious that such possibilities would be rather only enabled with developer mode turned on.

UPDATE: Also described why such thing is needed on sailfish-devel mailing list: https://lists.sailfishos.org/pipermail/devel/2014-January/002785.html
