[(POSSIBLE?) BUG] Mail attachement creates a copy in the media app

I'm a musician, and therefore I send quite a lot of audio files via the mail app. When attaching a file, it creates a copy in the media application. Sometimes I send many songs or instrumentals at once, which makes it quite frustrating to clean my playlist from a bunch of duplicates afterwards.

The most recent files was stored on the SD-card, maybe this has something to do with it?

I'm running OS version 1.1.1.27 (Vaarainjärvi).
