Having been waiting for a long time, with the new update we have finally gotten a tiny bit of control, regarding regarding the colors used for various aspect of the UI, regardless of our choice of ambiance.
This is all well and good, but there are still several issues, which I though I'd list here, not to complain, but to inform. I realize that the developers has enough on their plate, but perhaps this will help anyway, and I've been wanting to do it for a long time.
Regarding the parallax background, that is the background which moves at a different speed than the foreground when scrolling/sliding, it works nicely, except for a few small issues
3.1. The number of items in the home screen pulley affects the position of your background.
3.2. The number of application screens affects the rate at which the background moves when sliding through the screens.
The last two complains may seem silly, but for me at least it is important, as I spend quite a lot of time designing my own ambiances where it's important to me where various parts of the image is positioned in various screens. It takes quite a lot of time to get it right, and then suddenly you have a new application screen and you can start from scratch.
Lastly, it would be nice if various aspect of how the UI works were more available. I mean like how much does the background move when sliding through the screens, which rules are used for picking the colors for various ambiances, and so on and so forth.
I think that was all, more or less. Again, not complaining, just making sure that the right people are informed about those things that are important to me at least.
Best regards.
