As much as I like Jolla/sailfishOS I sometime think UI is to much split into half-empty menu sites.
An example: when using telephone function via pulley from main screen I first get the history. Why that? Then I have to choose number dealing OR name searching via pulley menu. Why not directly offer a "joined" menu with numbers and associated letters (like on every dump phone with keys) and give a contact suggestion regarding the letter sequence matching the typed "keys" (similar to word suggestion on normal keyboard layout)?
more small examples: when opening...
If needed there are many guides in the www for dense information by keeping a good UI. As mentioned already (https://together.jolla.com/question/85490/meteo-app-improvements/) you may want to have a look at... http://www.hichert.com/downloads/media/broschueren/brochure_2008_en.pdf
So my suggestion is this: use all the space you have and dense information more to give better information overview and minimize need for swiping (beside that's nice gesturing it's also wasting time if not necessary).
@all: Any other opinions? suggestions? comments? Thanks.
