In many countries the start of daylight saving time (DST) is coming up. This reveals a bug in Jolla's calendar app.
I had guessed that the cause for 1 is that the calendar app takes the current timezone as the implicit timezone when entering a time for a future event. In this case, I think this is the wrong thing to do, and it should view the entered time as relative to the timezone that is current at the day of the event. At the very least, it should indicate how it interprets the entered time, and preferably it would be possible to choose the timezone/DST with respect to which the time is interpreted.
However, Korganizer (the KDE calendar application) displays all events with the right time, even the ones that were created on my Jolla. That suggests that the problem is not with the creation, but with the display of events.
At any rate, it would be nice if this problem can be fixed, so we won't be an hour late for all events after 28 March.
By the way, this question is basically the same problem, but then for changes in timezone caused by travelling of the phone instead of DST.
