I need a URL handler for an app to work properly.
From what I have found out, *.desktop files in /usr/share/applications have to be edited or created. By now I have not found any documentation on how to set up those files in a correct way, not to damage the system, though.
Does anyone know about comprehensive documentation on this issue?
As a feature request, I would like to be able to add URL handlers easily, e.g. by a GUI.
