Calendar deletes caldav entries, when setting reminder

Hello,

This may be related to this question, but its not the main problem; https://together.jolla.com/question/60486/all-dates-shifted-by-one-hour-in-calendar-after-updating-to-11038/

I use ownCloud calendar. Until recently (seems to be related to summer time switch) I had no problems syncing my calendar.

Here is the problem, and how to reproduce:

  • Create event in ownCloud calendar (in my browser). Repeat every weekday (or any kind of repeating). Ends 15-JUN-2015.
  • Sync my caldav account on phone.
  • All events appear in phone calendar.
  • Edit the first event in phone calendar, choose edit all events. Set it to remind me when the event starts. All events is updated.
  • Sync my caldav account on phone.
  • All events, except the one I chose to edit have been deleted, and the one left is now a single event (no repeating).
  • In addition to this, some of the events will move one hour (i.e from 06:00 to 07:00).

Also, this do not seem to affect my ownCloud calendar. So if I sync after all repeating events is deleted on phone, they still show in my browser and other calendars (lightning).

Also, this This do not seem to affect my ownCloud calendar. So if I sync after all repeating events is deleted on phone, they still show in my browser and other calendars (lightning).

UPDATE: My calendar reminds me of the events I thought was deleted. They just don't show, and the time is still shifted by one hour. I've tried reinstalling the calendar app, but nothing changed. Anyone got suggestions for what I could try?

[solved] Calendar "hides" caldav events, after setting reminder

Hello,

Here is the problem, and how to reproduce:

  • Create event in ownCloud calendar (in my browser). Repeat every weekday (or any kind of repeating). Ends 15-JUN-2015.

This do not seem to affect my ownCloud calendar. So if I sync after all repeating events is deleted on phone, they still show in my browser and other calendars (lightning).

UPDATE 2:: Manged to fix it (kind of) following the instructions here; https://together.jolla.com/question/33975/bug-google-calendar-not-showing-all-events/. The time is still wrong, but I'll mark this thread as solved since there already is thread about the time being wrong.
